Are you focussed, effective, engaged, 'networked'?

The Sprint Women's Development Programme has been designed specifically to equip undergraduate women with what they need to reach their potential, find the right career path and succeed.

To help our women undergraduates thrive in a career that's right for them, the Careers Service is running this groundbreaking course over four days: 17th, 18th, 19th and 24th June 2015. The course looks at assertiveness, personal power and influence, identifying your values and attitudes, dealing with change and stress, managing your time effectively, building your image, networking skills and confidence, within the context of careers and study.

You can find more information about the Sprint programme
here and you can email sprint@sheffield.ac.uk if you have any questions about the programme. The closing date for applications is Friday 29th May 2015.

The Sprint Women's Development Programme has been accredited by both the Sheffield Graduate Award and HEAR.

According to the Springboard Consultancy,

“Women undergraduates are put off
applying for certain occupations
and industries and tend, on average,
to earn significantly less than their male
colleagues.” Sprint

Sprint will help build your confidence and your readiness for the world of work.   http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/careers/students/advice/sprint
